Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing features in a new film about coppicing
by miranda.vane |
This new film is the latest in a series of shorts made by filmmaker Charly Le Marchant with Vastern Timber called Wood for the Trees, about the future of UK forestry.
Here they ask whether coppicing, one of the oldest known forms of woodland management, could help bring the UK’s woodland back to life. It features John and Arthur Leigh-Pemberton and includes many views and close-ups of the Torry Hill chestnut woods.
