Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing has once again been contracted to supply quality chestnut products, suitable for the rich and famous!

As part of Torry Hill’s recent upgrades and developments, they are now able to offer customers an advanced pale making capacity.

Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing is now able to provide an even quicker turn around for their customers, with the introduction of another fencing machine.

Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing is delighted to announce the appointment of new general manager, Mike Westwell.

Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing recently provided the sheep fencing for London’s ‘Savile Row Field Day’ on 11th October. The most prestigious street in London, for tailoring, the event celebrated the start of Wool Week.

Specialists in Chestnut Fencing, Torry Hill really do provide ‘premiere’ fencing and here’s the proof! The experts were recently contracted to provide the fencing for the Tamara Drewe film premiere set, outside the Odeon in Leicester Square.

Chestnut Fencing specialists, Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing were thrilled to be awarded third prize for their trade stand at the 2010 Kent County Show. “Not only did we receive a record number of visitors to the stand, we won a prize for it!” commented John-Leigh Pemberton, owner of Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing. “Trade shows are always great fun but very hard work too so this is a fantastic achievement for our staff that worked so hard to make the stand so interactive and eye catching.”

Torryhill Chestnut Fencing will be exhibiting at the Kent County Show, from Friday 16th July to Sunday18th July at Stand no. 250 Grid reference D8 and will also be at the IOG Saltex exhibition at the fabulous Windsor Race Course. Visitors can come along to the event, from Tuesday 7th September to Thursday 9th September. We will be at stand no. CO9a.

FSC certified, Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing has recently won a contract to supply eight and a half miles of chestnut fencing and posts to one of their main stockists, wholesale merchants, Norbury Fencing, to be used for the Olympic Village currently under construction in Hackney. The fencing will be used to protect the newly planted and seeded landscape sites around the village.

Each spring the Torry Hill woodlands are an amazing and captivating display of bluebells. The bluebell is a species traditionally associated with managed ancient woodland, particularly those that have been regularly coppiced. Coppicing is the oldest form of woodland management and the regular cutting and regrowth creates a habitat where bluebells and other wildlife can thrive.
