Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing and fencing posts has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification – this means that our chestnut woodlands have passed stringent criteria and we have our Chain of Custody Certification to prove that we can trace our chestnut fencing products back to source. Therefore, all of our products are made from FSC certified wood. FSC is a worldwide accreditation, which was established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.

By using FSC certified wood we are supporting better management of the world’s forests.

The Torry Hill Estate sells chestnut fencing products including fencing posts and cleft post rail fencing, and fuel grade woodchip which are FSC Pure. The fencing is made from castanea sativa European Chestnut. The woodchip is made from mixed broadleaves. Inputs to these products are FSC Pure. The control system is the transfer system, and the site is Torry Hill Estate.
